KICKS FOR A CURE

KICKS FOR A CURE EVENTS

We’re changing things up for our 2024 Annual Event!

Join us at Let It Fly Sports Bar in downtown Omaha April 19-20!

Thanks to all our supporters for 2023, we raised $404,000! Funds were donated to Creighton’s Lynch Comprehensive Cancer Research Center and the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, both here in Omaha!

The Kicks for a Cure Mission

Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for local cancer research at Creighton University’s Lynch Comprehensive Cancer Research Center and the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, while also promoting active, healthy lifestyles. Since 2004, KFAC has provided $4.4 million in cancer research funding for the two cancer centers right here in Omaha!

Raising money to fight cancer is the primary goal of Kicks for a Cure. Proceeds from the events go directly to local cancer research.

The Kicks for a Cure weekend, which is kicked-off with a party on Friday evening, honors Liz Karnes and her love of soccer. Saturday’s soccer games (featuring local teams) offer an opportunity for families to cheer on the athletes and spread awareness for a great and important cause.

Funds from the weekend go directly to cancer research at the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and the Lynch Comprehensive Cancer Research Center at Creighton University in Omaha. Heading into its 16th year, proceeds from past events total an impressive $4,100,000.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR MISSION.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING KFAC THROUGH THE YEARS

A huge thank you to all Kicks for a Cure sponsors, volunteers, players, coaches and fans who have made Kicks for a Cure and our annual event successful throughout the years. Your donations are making a difference in our community! Although we were not able to gather for or hold the annual event in 2020, our supporters still pulled through to raise over $400,000. In 2021, our event went virtual and we were able to raise another $400,000. We were so happy to host our event IN PERSON in 2022. Due to COVID-19, there has been a delay in cancer diagnoses so your support is more important than ever to help find a cure and KICK CANCER. Total proceeds brought in through the 16-year total of the event to $4,400,000.
